Chittering Heights does not have air conditioning. The property sits high on a hilltop and benefits from natural cross-ventilation through large windows that open onto decks. The unique design with a tall cone roof helps keep the interior comfortable year-round.

We provide several large fans for hot days. Most guests find the natural airflow and fans more than adequate, even during summer. This is part of the off-grid experience—embracing the natural environment rather than relying on artificial climate control.
